Hi. My name is Bk.  I am a 9 year old cat. I got pregnant with my first litter of kittens in Jan. 2009. I never had an interest of being outdoors and my heat cycles were extremely short.

Well, I decided to hit my mid life crisis and GO FOR IT in Jan. and yes I got pregnant.

On March 13, my body decided it was time to let go with the pregnancy. My mucus plug came out. Even though, I didn't have labor pains that night, I paced back and forth, was trying to decide where to have my kittens, etc. By 8 a.m. on Saturday the 14th I went into hard labor pains. By 9:30 a.m. I stopped. A sac was outside my body, but the kitten (as told by my Dr. later was still almost 1 and a half inches away from the outside opening of my "private parts").

My Mom, rushed me to the animal emergency room. After two shots of "go" juice, still nothing. A C-Section was called for. My poor Mom was beside herself, she herself, is a single Mom, one income, didn't have the money to handle to surgery. She had to come up with half the money plus sign a promisary (sp) note to pay it all back within 4 weeks. She did it some how, AMAZING!!

But, now my Mom is hurting. She postponed her own son's 13th birthday party, for 2-4 weeks to take care of my medical bills and is trying to work as much OT as possible. She's still coming up short.

Can anyone help her, since she was so kind to help me and my 5 living kittens? (There were 6 in my womb, but the vet siad one passed on earlier one, and was almost "mummified").

My "mom" has been there to help feed and clean and make sure my babies poop and pee ona regular schedule. She still has to work and has begged family and friends to come in and help with my babes.

She needs helps with the current vet bill, future vet bills and would like to offer those who helped a small token for dropping theirs lives for ours.

 Thanks-B.K.
